Delaware Chicken Farm Turkey not as good as Butterball...

DJulz "over 2 years ago"

So this year, we decided to skip our usual Butterball Turkey and got a farm-fresh organic one from Delaware Chicken farm instead. All our friends kept telling us how much better they tasted. Which it should, considering it was more than twice the price. So we stood in line at the Delaware store like we were lining up at a club, and the turkey-bouncer "allowed" us to approach the altar of the turkey butcher, and we get a nice-looking 20lb turkey, take it home, do all the regular stuff we normally do (over-baked, not deep fried - still afraid of burning down my house). And guess what? Dry. None of the seasoning outside went into the meat. None of the seasoning inside got the the meat. Just a total fail.
