A simple question for Obama

What's worse: A marginal country with a "dictator" who's not nearly as bad as other African dictators in terms of genocide and terrorism, or a coup led by rebels who are members of Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood and Al-Qaeda, all ENEMIES of the U.S.? Why are we even meddling in this mess? If anything we should use diplomacy to coerce Qaddafi to introduce reforms to his social and economic policies instead of going down this dangerous path. It's crazy. Sometimes I really wonder if Obama is really competent enough to be a president.
