NFL Lockout is More than Corporate Greed

People love blaming the owners in the NFL lockout mess, but let's not downplay the involvement of the players in this ordeal. The players are just as greedy or even MORE greedy than the owners.....a bunch of prima donnas if you ask me. They get paid millions of dollars to work only literally 8 months a year....they don't have to worry about marketing, research, ticket sales, public relations, etc.......stuff the owners have to worry about. It's like, give me a break. Owners are looking for ways to streamline their businesses.....they are doing their JOB. Without streamlined operations, players would not be getting high salaries. It's a symbiotic relationship here. I am a football fan through and through, and as much as I WANT to pin this on the owners, I can't. Why? Well, I'm also a college graduate and a business owner myself, so I know a few things about keeping costs down and profitability high. It's the players who should be making concessions here, not the owners. About the only thing the owners and league should budge on is retirement and health benefits, but that's a different story for a different day. When are the players going to be held more accountable for this mess? And now the NBA is headed for a lockout....again, same old story.
