Friend lost
A friend of mine who is a business professional started giving me the silent treatment after I took her to her dental surgery and then drove her home. I went clear across town to help her out, and never even got a word of thanks, not a thank you card or anything. She said she would meet me for lunch sometime afterwards but never did. Because she was so silent, I began to wonder if she was in the hospital or on her death bed. She finally communicated to me that she did not want to hear from me again. I have no idea why she decided this was a decent course of action? She appeared to enjoy the power of silence she held over me a little too much as well. I told her she was narcassistic. I hate to lose the friendship, but I can see why she is almost 50, and has never been married. Her immature course of action caused me to say that I never want to hear from her again. I'm to old to deal with negative people whom are dishonest with their feelings. Who cannot work through issues with a friend. Who needs enemies when you have so called friends like this? I swear some people do the strangest things.

Add a Comment Give AdviceI'm 16 and I have the same problems. My "friends" take out their anger on me. But I try to talk to them and they are all pissy and won't talk to me. So when I forget about them, they start to talk about me and things like that. I realized I don't need friends to live. I'll be okay.
