My son has decided that he doesn't want to have anything to do with me, but will post anything on his blog having to do with his life. He will discuss the most intimate details of his life with the world but will not talk with his father. What is up with this.

I think people are douche bags. People subtly manipulate others and change what they think, just by being around them. I hate people, and If I had a son, I'd make him talk to me. I'd walk right up to him and just start talking. Who cares if I look desperate, He'd be my son. There isn't really any pride in the family, you just have to swallow it and do the right thing. Too many people have too much pride, and they become ignorant, stubborn and completely stupid. That's why I hate people.

Teenagers naturally coagulate from their parents. They're growing, new thoughts are developing and they are forming their own perspective on the world. Be patient. Find something he's into and try to share that bond. Learn about it or have him teach you. Teens like teaching adults things. Maybe try going to a baseball game if that's what he's into. If he's into a type of music or specific band, type that band into itunes and find other groups like it and put him onto them.
