AT&T is making me HATE owning a mobile. But is it a bad thing?

WIth crappy pricing ($129 for unlimited), shoddy call quality (garbled/dropped calls), and no international SMS ($0.25 each send and receive), AT&T is making me HATE owning a mobile. But that's not necessarily a bad thing, is it?
