I hope the Droid/Android phones scare the crap out of AT&T/Apple.

First off, I own an iPhone 3G. I like it. But I don't love it. But I don't think Apple would do anything to improve it unless Droid gets popular. That's not new news, as they didn't reveal anything interesting until the Palm Pre scared them. So hopefully Droid will to. That being said, here's my list of updates to the iPhone (Feel free to add your own in the comments section): 1. Physical Keyboard like the Blackberry Bold. Predictive dialing is not perfect. 2. Easier Calendar entry - tap on date/time, add specifics. Don't make it a 5-minutes process like it is now. (Seriously Apple, this sucks!) 3. One-touch dialing (Requires Keyboard) - One my Treo or Blackberry, one press on a designated key and I was dialing. No such luck on the iPhone. If the person is not on my speed dial list, it's two minutes of swiping to get to them. Impossible to do while driving. 4. Default Alarm for all calendar entries. Every time I setup a calendar entry, I have to specify that it shoudl remind me in five minutes. Why? Cmon Apple, 5-year old phones have this feature! 5. Replaceable battery - My battery doesn't hold a charge now after 13 months of usage. Apple's solution - move up to a 3GS. That's bunk! So am I totally off the mark? I want to hear from my fellow iPhone users. And good luck to Droid! That's the only way the consumer will benefit!
