I agree with you. The thing with Apple is that they don't seem to listen too much to what the customer wants, functionality-wise...they just like to put out sleek, fashionable items that they KNOW the consumer will want to buy, due to its "coolness" factor. Contrast this to a Blackberry (I own the new Blackberry Tour), that has awesome functionality, is practical and easy to use, yet pretty darn fashionable at the same time. That is Apple's main bugaboo - they need to improve the iPhone's functionality. Yes, it's the hottest phone and the nicest-looking touchscreen. But if the Droid catches on with consumers not only for its sleek looks but also provides a seamless user experience, then it could cut into the iPhone's market share. And that could be a good thing, because Apple would have no choice then but to listen to the consumers and improve the iPhone's feature set.
