How do you make a guy happy?

My boyfriend and I are having this never ending fight about what i could do to show him that i care . he thinks i do nothing! I think i do a heck of a lot more than he gives me credit for. I send him texts asking about his day- but i dont crowd him. i tell him i love him every day- but i dont hang off of him! He can go out without me and drink anytime he wants. I watch basketball with him for godsake! and any other sport for that matter! I make him dinner atleast twice a week. i rub his shoulders when they get tense from work! he cant sleep without noise- i make him a flipping sleep mix on my ipod! And i have never ever left him unhappy on the sex side of things! he gets hung up on one freaking thing- I dont say whats on my mind that much. I keep things in for the most part. He sees that- but nothing else that i try to do to show him i care. Am i wrong? do i suck as a girlfriend? What do i need to do??
